
LA MARGARITA DE PRICKLY PEAR
To make La Margarita de Prickly Pear, begin by blending or muddling the prickly pear fruit to create a puree. In a shaker, combine La Niña Blanco, prickly pear puree, fresh lime juice, and agave syrup. Shake the mixture with ice and strain it into a glass, either straight or over ice, with a salted rim. The beautiful pink hue of the prickly pear makes this drink not only visually striking but also deliciously sweet with a hint of tartness.
Ingredients:
- La Nima Blanco Premium Tequila- 1½ oz / 45 ml
- Orange Liqueur (Cointreau®, Grand Marnier®) –1 oz /30ml
- Freshly squeezed lime juice- 1 oz /30ml
- Prickly Pear Syrup- ½ oz / 15 ml
- Rim: Kosher salt
- Garnish: lime wedge
Instructions:
In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine tequila, triple sec, freshly squeezed lime juice, and prickly pear syrup. Shake vigorously, then strain into the prepared glass with salt rim, and garnish with a lime wedge.
